MOD POST OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE

We alluded to some changes in the game's structure on plurk, and now we need the input of our small but loyal playerbase. This game is for YOU and we want it to run smoothly and make it as easy for everyone to get involved and enjoy themselves as much as we can. Please take some time and read the following...

GAME TIME
At the moment, the game runs on a 1:1 basis. That is, one day in game is equivalent to one day in real life. Given the plots that we have planned as well has the events that have happened, the mod team is of the belief that this does not give the appropriate amount of time for people to accomplish what they need. A good portion of us back tag like nobody's business, but we don't want people to feel they need to rush from one event to the next. Also, given the overarching basis plot for the game, we think that everything might benefit from a new ratio.

This, of course, is entirely up to you. We want to move at a speed everyone is comfortable with, so please choose from the following. Of course, if you have any comments, you are more than welcome and very much encouraged to leave those as well. We will go over the options...

None of us have paid accounts, and therefore can't do dreamwidth polls. SORRY!!


1:1 This is the ratio that we currently have! If you don't want any changes in the way the game is going, you can choose this one.
1:2 This means one day in game would be equal to two days in real time. As such, the days could be divided into day and night. For example, if Monday and Tuesday in real time made one day game time, Monday could be day and Tuesday could be night. Of course posts could still be back-dated to any time of day.
1:7 One day in game is equal to one week (seven days) in real time. Though this option is the longest, it does allow for a large amount of detail to be put into specific posts/logs/events/etc. Backdating will still be available, but there would be less need for it.

This poll will be open for one week! That is it will end on September 28th.


UPCOMING EVENTS
As we will not finalize the calendar until our time ratio has been worked out, there is quite a bit of tweaking that can be done. We would like to open up the floor for any event suggestions that you may have. Perhaps you and a few friends have been stirring things around a bit that you want the whole game on? Maybe you found that picture that was defaced? Maybe you just have an idea you want the mods to know? Whatever it is, please feel free to share it with us.


SEPTEMBER HUNT
Due to some changes in modding, we have postponed the hunt until the following week. Please take note of the new dates.


FLOWERING CACTOID



DETAILS: The hunt will contain four monsters, the Flowering Cactoid, a Cactoid, and two Cactite. It is located in the Dalmasca Estersand running about in a maze.

REWARDS: The Flowering Cactoid will reward 10 LP, the Cactoid will reward 5 LP, and the two Cactite will reward 2 LP each.

NOTES: For NPC run hunts, the results will be determined using Random.org. The same character might defeat more than one monster, but it's also possible that all four monsters in the hunt will be defeated by different characters.

SCHEDULE:

September 25th The flier will be posted on the IC network! This hunt will be a part of a bigger scavenger hunt. Players can continue to sign up their characters until the results are posted.

September 28th Results will be posted, meaning that the person who will be chosen to be successful will be revealed. If they've gathered a group to help them during the hunt, the entire group will be successful and the reward will be split.
