This month, we'll be having our first hunt! The Calendar has been updated to show the exact date, but given that this isn't something we've done before, we're giving a little heads up.

NPC hunts will be given monthly. Sometimes they will be open for all. Other times, they will be special hunts specifically for a certain clan. They will usually be happening just after the app round closes to give our new members something to get them started if they so please! Our first hunt is going to be Thextra, a mutant wolf that will be stalking around the desert after the sandstorm. Feel free to have your characters spot him now that the storm is over, but note that he will not be able to be defeated until the hunt is on.

For NPC hunts, any number of characters can sign up! Who is actually successful is determined by the mods using the lovely random.ORG.

Hunt week will go as follows:

August 19th: An OOC sign up post will be posted in this community for members who are interested to post with what characters will be participating on the hunt. Characters will not be aware of the Hunt until the flier is posted in game.
August 22nd: The flier will be posted! Characters are free to discuss the hunt and even start their searches for Thextra. Players can still sign up their characters until the results are post.
August 24th: Results will be posted, meaning that the person who will be chosen to be successful will be revealed. If they've gathered a group to help them during the hunt, the entire group will be successful and the reward will be split.

Freya here! I apologize for disappearing RP-wise, my new job has been busy busy but a lot of fun. In lieu of changes in my offline life and for the betterment of the game, I've decided to drop Fran while she isn't super involved in anything. I will still, clearly, have John. But I will be taking over the full responsibility for NPCing Vayne, instead, who I believe to be more fundamental to how the plot of the game moves.

This will hopefully be the best decision for the game as whole! My modly duties come first, so I may be a bit slow tagging. Thank you all for understanding!

A character may be exempt from an activity check by posting a HIATUS, or if they were accepted within the month of the current activity check. By completing an Activity Check, you will automatically receive 10 LP. You can use this to buy new licenses for your character. If you provide extra activity, you may receive an extra 5 LP.

Holy timelines, Batman! For those of you who have been keeping an eye on the Calendar page, you know there are some fun things coming up this week. One mini-event we want to point out in particular is that of Vayne Solidor coming to Rabanastre. For those who don't know who he is, you will soon! He is the eldest living son of the House of Solidor, Larsa's brother, the ruling family of the Archadian Empire. He is coming to be appointed as the Empire's Consult to Dalmasca, making him the de facto leader.

( Oh yes, this is going to be fun... )

Hate to do this so soon, but the monster known as Otakon is this weekend, and I'm leaving in a few hours to head for a friend's place to help with the wonder of Con Prep. In the meantime, Meenah will be wandering about Rabanastre, drumming up business (both legal and illegal, so feel free to let me know if you'd like to have your character run into her! Who's late to this string of intros? I sure am. I'm Ambi, I'm new, and I'll soon be playing Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI. That other Final Fantasy game with the big bad Empire and the desert kingdom and the pair of badass blond twins...

So really he ought to feel right at home, I guess.

For those interested, his AU history is...pretty much his canon history. He's an adventurer and technically a thief, but he prefers to consider himself a treasure hunter. He joined the ~~Returners~~ Resistance to get back at the ~~Gesthalian~~ Arcadian Empire after his amnesiac girlfriend became a civilian casualty in the war, and so has a tendency to be protective of people in trouble. Especially woman. He's not projecting any sort of guilt issues anywhere, nope.

Hi all I'm Viv, one of ye olde helper mods 'round these parts, introducing you all to ROXY LALONDE from Homestuck. She's a smart girl who has a fondness for alcohol and being drunk and she is here to gossip. She works at the Sandsea as part of the Resistance, so hunters coming to check the board or other Resistance members, expect to see her around a lot.

Like all HS pups, Roxy has a particular way of typing which is really just bright pink font riddled with typos and completely lacking in punctuation and proper capitalization. If you wanna opt out (which will basically mean just changing the font to black, as the typo part isn't really a quirk, she's just drunk), you can go here to do just that!

Hey, Tides of War! Kana, player of Agrias Oaks (

lionsguard) of Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, here again and this time with my second character. Please say hello to Adelaide, better known as Adelle of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift fame. This'll be my first run with her and I'm really looking forward to breaking her in at this awesome game.

What to say about Adelle? She's an Ivalician native that hails from so distant in the future that she's already alive in the game's present, so she doesn't have an AU history. She's simply being pulled from a few years in the future and deposited into the past. In her own time, she's reinforced a well-deserved reputation as a famed thief and headhunter. She is known as "Adelle the Cat" amongst her fellow headhunters for her agility, which beats even that of a Viera assassin, but as she's still building in the reputation in the present, your character probably won't have heard of her unless they've been out to the continents of Loar or Ordallia or heard a rumor from someone who's been there. If you'd like to work something out, though, let me know! Getting back to the matter at hand, Adelle is a sassy, capable, cunning, intelligent, independent young woman with quite a lot of Gifts, not to mention a tendency to be on the colder side of things and speak her mind. She's very much a teenaged girl in that she's got a penchant for designer clothing, fabulous foods and drinks, and fun, be it hanging out with her friends or questing with her clan. She also tends towards selfishness, has a great weakness for gil, is a great actor and con-woman, and can be quite charming when she wants to be ~~and besides~~. As I am pulling her from a week post canon, she's had some character development and isn't so much of an unhealthy loner or selfish in extremes.

Canon doesn't give her an age, so I'm pegging her at fifteen at canon's end, by which point she's met Vaan, Penelo, Al-Cid Margrace, and Hurdy. If their players want to talk me up about that, feel free to grab my info from THE CONTACT PAGE and hit me up as I'm sure shenanigans will ensue upon their meeting in-game. If anyone wants to hit me up for plotting or just chatting, feel free to do the same! You're also free to add me on plurk, if you haven't!
